Started in December 2005, SMUX Biking Team has grown tremendously in strength over the past 2 years despite being one of the youngest team in SMUX. The Team aims to cater to bikers of all levels, by introducing activities of varied difficulties.
Catering to introductory bikers, Biking 101 is the latest initiative by the Team to give students without the skill an avenue to take up this sport. Not forgetting the seasoned bikers, expeditions are organised to give Bikers an opportunity to experience a different element of biking.
Biking Team keeps their annual, traditional rides to Rengit, Desaru and Kukup. At the same time, they actively seek to explore new places. Penang and Malacca are some of the places that the Team plans to visit in the near future.
Mission Statement
The SMUX Biking Team aspires to reach to all.
We love the ride, and aim to share the joys of biking.
Fervent and steadfast, we are dedicated to serving the school’s biking needs
Together as one
“We provide the ride, you provide the legs.”

how do i join the team?
Hi guys, I chanced upon this forum via Google search and saw that you have a biking team, hence thought of introducing this place to you.
There is a newly opened adventure centre located at Pengerang, Malaysia. The journey is 45 mins bumboat ride from Changi Point Ferry Terminal in Singapore. They offer outdoor activities such as dirtbiking and pitbiking, wakeboarding, mountain biking and ATV rides. =)
Training is provided for dirtbiking and wakeboarding activities. For wakeboarding, you only have to pay for the time spent on riding. Travelling time from the park to the riding spot is not counted. Riders only pay for the actual riding time. While cycling from Pengerang to Sungai Rengit, you can enjoy the nice greenery and cheap and fresh seafood in Sungai Rengit.
Come join in the fun and see ya guys there~~
Cheers
Elyn
Hi there, i am considering getting another bike for my husband. He though is very concerned around what type of risks could take place from motor biking accidents. Look his passion is sports so if he was disabled, he would likely kill himself, no laughs. Do you think biking injuries usually occur, or is it usually only dying!
Hi I am a freshie
Can i find out more about your training times on a weekly basis?
Pretty interested in biking?
Hi Darren,
Kelvin, the team manager of Biking Team here. I spoke to you at the Rengit booth that day remember?
I emailed you this morning to ask if you are interested in offroad cycling.
As for training rides, we currently have it on Sunday mornings. Its 7.30am at SIS subway. You can join us this Sunday
I will add you in our mailing list to keep you updated on our weekly activities.
Thanks!
I need to verify with you here, which isn’t one thing I often do! I enjoy reading a website that may make individuals think. Additionally, thanks for allowing me to remark!
